Dr. Dmitri Svirsky, was the first prosthodontist practicing in Toronto who attained board certification in both Canada and USA in 1999.
Dr. Svirsky has started his dental career by obtaining degree in dental technology in Ukraine in 1983. He furthered his studies by completing his general dentistry training from both Ukraine in 1988 and Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, USA in 1994. In recognition of his achievements at Boston University he was awarded full scholarship to continue his studies in Post-Graduate Prosthodontics. Upon completion of his studies in 1996, Dr. Svirsky was offered a position to stay on faculty as an assistant clinical professor in the department of Biomaterials and Restorative Sciences, the renowned prosthodontic program at Boston University. Dr. Svirsky directed post-graduate courses in fixed prosthodontics, occlusion, articulators and was responsible for the literature review seminars. The number of complicated reconstructive prosthodontic cases supervised from the treatment planning to the completion by Dr. Svirsky at the department’s clinic over his 5-year tenure at Boston University could be enough for a lifetime experience in a private practice.
Upon his return to Toronto in 2001, Dr. Svirsky has joined the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto until his private practice required more time commitment. Dr. Svirsky still involved in sharing his knowledge by lecturing nationally and internationally. He presented at Columbia and Rutgers Universities in USA and both Ukraine and Russia. Dr. Svirsky holds seminars for Toronto area dentists that take place in his practice in Toronto

Dr. Paulette Pillersdorf
Snoring & Sleep Apnea Therapy
Dr. Pillersdorf graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 1985, where she won awards in Pedodontics, Periodontics, and Radiology.
She has a special interest in treating obstructive sleep apnea and snoring. She has been treating sleep dentistry patients for the last seven years.
Dr. Pillersdorf has also taught physical fitness, yoga, and dance, so she understands the importance of good quality sleep and how it relates to mental and physical benefits, supporting a healthy lifestyle.
When she is at home, she enjoys the company of her dogs, cats and birds.
Dr. Bill Kim

Dr. Bill Kim received his dental degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada where he received the Oral B Laboratories Dental Undergraduate Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement. He then pursued a General Practice Residency training at the New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical College, where he gained additional skills in dental emergency management, wisdom teeth extractions and dental implants. After 4 years of practice Dr. Kim pursued advanced post-graduate education in dental anesthesiology in New York. Dr. Kim successfully completed a 2-year residency training in the anesthesiology department at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center where he learned anesthesia techniques for all types of surgery, including general surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, gynecology, neurosurgery, vascular and dental cases, for both inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Kim can provide sedation and general anesthesia to phobic, pediatric, and special needs patients, catering to their specific treatment needs. Dr. Kim has also completed multiple advanced continuing education courses in dental implants, oral surgery, root canal treatment and orthodontics. He served as a part-time clinical instructor at the dental school of the University of British Columbia. In addition to his Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Dr. Kim holds a Master's Degree in Pharmacology where he investigated the role of genetics and metabolism in smoking behavior and received multiple awards and fellowships for this project which was published in 2005. During his anesthesiology training, Dr. Kim also published his sedation method in Anesthesia Progress, the main journal for American Dental Society of Anesthesiologists. Dr. Kim is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association and American Society of Dental Anesthesiologists. Dr. Kim is also b affiliated with College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia, and British Columbia Dental Association.
In his spare time, Dr. Kim enjoys tennis, traveling and spending time with his family. He is also a seasoned piano performer. He speaks English, Korean and conversational French.
